Launched in October 2020 to incredible success, the BBC Maestro platform enables world-class experts to share exclusive knowledge and insight into their craft. The launch of Mark’s course coincides with the introduction of the new BBC Maestro program all-access subscription service, where users can pay an annual fee for unlimited access to all BBC Maestro courses. Where previously users could only purchase individual courses, Full Access opens the door to each Maestro and an additional load of inspiration. Additionally, this course marks the launch of BBC Maestro in the United States for the first time.
Mark’s BBC Maestro course will provide a one-of-a-kind learning experience as he lifts the lid on his unique creative process by breaking down the tips and techniques that helped him become the award-winning music producer he is today.
Through eighteen online lessons with individual sub-chapters aimed at those interested and eager to learn more about music production, Mark will educate beginners on how to approach songwriting, recording, production as well as tips on how to successfully collaborate with other musicians to create a genre. challenging and timeless music.

The 18 tailored course lessons include: What Makes a Great Producer, Sample-Based Production, Serving the Song, The Power of Knowledge, Developing Ideas, Educate Yourself, Session Preparation, Build Production, Extra’ Ear Candy’ and Tones, Colors and Textures plus collaborations with GRAMMY award-winning rapper, Jon Bellionsinger Niya NorwoodGRAMMY-winning engineer, mixer and producer, ricky damien and drummer and singer of the Frightners, Richard Terrana.
By the end of the course, viewers will gain an advanced understanding of the production process, authentic insight into recording a track, and how the result will be a patchwork of trial and error. Giving rare insight into how he created some of his greatest hits such as Nothing breaks like a heart and Downtown funk, those involved will acquire a respectable knowledge of the art of music production.
