Music Production Support Technician | The Music Diary

The University of the Arts London is recruiting a Music Production Support Technician.

The role will provide specialist technical support to the Sound Arts department. Working within the college’s technical team and alongside academics, the role will be instrumental in developing and enhancing students’ ability to understand and successfully challenge the world around us.

This is a unique role designed to support screen school aligned technical resources. Working within sound & Music Technical Team, this role will help classes develop and improve student sound studio skills. The role will include acquiring and maintaining technical resources, providing equipment and assisting students in the use of highly specialized technical processes.

You will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a background in one or more of the following disciplines: music production, sound studio recording, engineering, mixing & mastering, installation and live sound engineering, sound effects and localization recording, acoustics, studio management.

You have work experience in the music industry or in higher education, preferably within a sound department or post-production facility. Experience in supporting students on technical and creative projects is highly desirable.
