Apple appears to have suffered a massive outage today (Monday) with users reporting problems accessing the App Store, iCloud and iMessage.
Down Detector, a website that monitors reported outages, says thousands of people are having trouble accessing their email accounts and files, as well as the iCloud website. Users have also reported issues with Find my iPhone, Apple Maps, iTunes, and iMessage.
People find it difficult to send messages, especially those that include photos. It is currently unknown what is causing the problems. The issues began to be reported around 4:20 p.m. Monday.

A number of people have taken to Twitter to share their experiences. One user, Dorothie, said, “imessage being down is crazy”.
Darryl said: “Is it just me or does there seem to be something wrong with @apple’s #iCloud right now?” Courtney Andros said: “So iMessage is apparently broken? I couldn’t send a message earlier so I disabled it and now it won’t reactivate on either my home phone or my work phone. is amusing “
Colin said: “I’ve been trying to move things around to delete or file them – every time for an hour this has been reversed after pausing in the icloud app on mac.”
