Concert Seen: Linkin Park

Comment: I absolutely love Linkin Park. So when I had a chance to see them in concert I was all for going. The first concert was in Nashville with Hoobastank,POD, and Story of the Year. The entire concert was general admission on the floor tickets and above the floor tickets. I had tickets above the floor but I was determined to get a good place. We waited outside sitting on the steps for about 7 hours and had seats right by the stage. At the time I had no idea who Story of the Year was, but I soon found out they rocked. They had the most energy of any band I have ever seen. Finally it was Linkin Park time. They rocked!!!! By the time the concert was over I was addicted. I ran home and tried to find the next closest concert which was Project Revolution in Atlanta with The Used, Less Than Jake, Snoop Dogg, and Korn. I had decided next time I was going to be in the pit in the front no matter what cost. I joined LP Underground and logged on the minute presale tickets went on and bought my tickets for the pit. Once again I waited outside the gates for hours and hours to get in front.

All of that waiting in the hot August sun was well worth it. Front row, center stage baby. We were seriously like 2 feet from the stage. The entire show was awesome. Jonathan Davis came out on stage with bagpipes, Snoop came out of a doghouse, The Used and Less than Jake were jumping into the crowd, and Linkin Park....what else can I really say? They were all over crazy, full of energy, sexy as ever, and those screams and growls that come out of Chester Bennington... Both concerts were well worth the money paid in tickets and driving, and worth the headache of sitting there all day long and putting up with people. I'm just waiting for the next show.
