Concert Seen: Good Charlotte

Comment: I went to see my favourite ever band, Good Charlotte on March 20th 2005. It was a sunday so i was gonna have to get up at about 5:30 am the next morning to get back to Bath (the town where i live(stupid name i know)) in time for school. I went with my dad- sad but i could hardly have gone by myself coz im only 13-and besides he paid for the tickets. When we got to Brixton Academy at 6:30 (the doors opened at 7) we realised we should have come a bit earlier! The queue went round the block twice! Ive been to Brixton for concerts twice b4 (Kings of Leon and The Killers) and it had never been like this!!

So we started 2 queue, and I felt really out of place, coz even tho im not a trev or a prep, im not really totally in 2 goth or punk. I couldnt even find my eyeliner!

So when we got in there, it was totally mad, with everyone screaming etc. So we got pretty good seats, despite being so late, and after like 1/2 hour the first support came on and everyone was shouting and they pretty much sucked. The after like 15 mins the next support came on and they were a bit better. And then we were all getting really excited and then like after what seemed an age.... OMG IT WAS GOOD CHARLOTTE! so everyone started shouting 'Benji, marry me' etc then they started to play and it was totally the most surreal moment of my life! They played all the released song from Young and Hopeless (the anthem, lifestyles of the rich and famous, young and hopeless and my bloody valentine)and the whole of Chronicals of Life and Death.

When I come out my head was still ringing with the whole JESUS CHRIST I JUST SAW GOOD CHARLOTTE MY FAVOURITE BAND IN THE WHOLE HISTORY OF THE WORLD feeling of it. And thats the story of the best night of my life ;)
